Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard some news about Glyphosate recently. There is no shortage of bad news around this herbicide. Why are countries banning it? Who found out it causes cancer? What's all this about kid's breakfast cereal being drenched in it?

Here is the fundamental question that leads to all of those separate issues: Why do farmers WANT to use Glyphosate? What's the benefit if it is indeed so dangerous?
